  • Pay by Mail: Money Order Only
  • Pay in Person at City Hall or during court appearance. Payment methods accepted are exact cash amount, money order, or Visa/Mastercard/Discover cards.

Fines are higher for violations resulting in accidents. To obtain fine amounts for citations issued as a result of an accident, you must contact a Court Administrator at (985) 370-7500.

Lawyers and insurance companies can send a request to the department along with a money order or business check.
